Okay...looks legit on the one hand, but, how did the front police box notice become black with white text all of a sudden? (Pre Photoshop says as in.)  ???

We had a bit of a debate about this a few months or so back, the general consensus is that we thought that for some reason when they put the cover together they altered the front sign on the cover proof. Probably because the "black on white" front sign didn't show up clearly enough.

But why replace the windows? That's what confuses me a bit more than the sign...

They could either have gotten paint on them during the refurb, or one or more were broken to remove them in advance of the box being repainted.  More than a few photos show broken panes on this and other props, suggesting that whatever they were using for the "glass" may not've been very robust.
