A whole new project I've been working on for the last few weeks. The Pertwee era Tardis console room, made in Blender using Tony's latest plans.
Well, without further ado, here's a sneak peek of the Central Column:

There's more stuff to come, I'll be updating this topic as soon as possible.

God that looks realistic, you can almost touch it.

Seriously, for a moment I thought I was looking at a picture of the one in my study...

Thank you all for the kind words! This is probably the most enjoyable project I've ever worked on, so it's really nice to hear your feedback.
I've spent some more time on materials and made another picture. It took about 6 hours to render, which was crazy (previous render took only 30 minutes)

The console is on its way!

that looks amazing, I thought it was real for a moment.

I was about to complain that this was miscategorised in the virtual console build section for a moment! This is stunningly realistic :o

This rotor is awesome! Well done.
When you will finish this TARDIS, will you make a game or make a addon on Garry's Mod..?
Time is a structure relative to ourselves. Time is the space made by our lives, where we stand together forever. Time and relative dimension in space. It means life.

Thank you!

And answering your question: unfortunately no, I don't do addons for Garry's Mod.
A game? Well, that could be possible if only I knew how to code ...and obviously I don't.

Well guys, the 'Build Your Own TARDIS Console' eBook has finally been released!
And now I'm happy to show you the project I've been working on for the last 7 months.

The complete Season 8 Tardis console, mimicking one specific console build by karsthotep.
Made and rendered in Blender.

You have given me more inspiration on my build man.  I never thought I would see my down stairs in CGI lol.  It looks great and seeing what I am heading towards drives me even more.  Thanks for your excellent and hard work on the ebook it is greatly appreciated.

Words cannot describe it.  I have a hard time believing that's not real.
"My dear Litefoot, I've got a lantern and a pair of waders, and possibly the most fearsome piece of hand artillery in all England. What could possibly go wrong?"

This looks so real it's no wonder it's ended up in the wrong place.

Fantastic work.

I'm just going to move it to the virtual section.

Cheers

Blimey, that's  brilliant. I too thought it was real!

I'm really having trouble with Blender; wish I could get the hang of it.

Having trouble importing collada dae files from Sketchup.
