why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Blimey! The bottom half of those doors is in a terrible state! :o

Both Caves of Androzani and Twin Dilemma were both sandy planets - yet you think they would have cleaned it - rather than store it in a dirty state.

I think it's from all the mud that the prop took on during the filming of The Twin Dilemma...

Interesting mess....

This was broadcast long after The Twin Dilemma had finished shooting in January.

The prop did get very dirty on location - two quarry locations recorded between the two studio blocks.

Yet when they went into the second studio block, the prop was cleaned up and repainted.

Was Harty a live show or pre-recorded?

If it was live then what happened to the prop after The Twin Dilemma shooting.

It must have been pre-recorded before the 2nd studio block.

Or looking at it - maybe they come out of the back on the chat show and only two sides were painted for the Twin Dilemma 2nd studio (the left side down seem to be lighter.

I believe the show was a live broadcast (Harty was once hit by Grace Jones, so it's unlikely that it was pre-recorded)

From memory the Russell Harty show was live.

Could they be the two separate boxes?

(I'd check Tony's excellent chronology; however as I type this i've been sat in a bar in sunny Gibraltar for the last couple of hours... They have Heineken on tap.

As I do like Heineken, the consequence of this that its all I can do to type this post coherently. Trying to navigate my way through the site to Tony's article in my phone is going to be beyond my capabilities at the moment...::) )
