Managed to get hold of two 4th Doctor and TARDIS sets from B&M, so the plan is to modify one of them to create an Eighth Doctor box (because I doubt we'll ever see CO release one proper).

I'm not going for ridiculously screen accurate but figured a new roof (probably 3D printed), correct decals for the sign box/PTO, and a lick of paint should give me something approximation like the mock-up I've created... As for colour, any ideas? The TVM prop looks completely different in just about every image I've seen of it!!

If you're willing to give it a try, the ship's lantern keyrings appear to have a suitably in-scale fresnel lense for the Character Options TARDIS props, which would help make the lantern look even more spot-on, with some scratch building.

The photoshopping really sells the concept.

Good shout - I had no idea such things even existed!!

I'm guessing you mean these.  Bit expensive though. I'll keep looking around to see if there are any cheaper sources.
