I haven't heard any of these so don't know what the War Master is packing but it looks sonicy -

Looks like an upside down variant of the 11th Doctors sonic.

I thought it might be using parts of the trans-temporal sonic toy (the bottom part particularly), but I found a higher-res image and it looks more unique/custom made to me. I do like the hexagonal emitter-head, though.

Do you think it's worth messaging Big Finish for more pics?

The bottom two sections of the sonic are definitely from the Trans temporal sonic. I think that the top emitter section is also from one of the build your own sonic kits, I just think it's been heavily photoshopped. They wouldn't go out of their way to make a brand new sonic for the sake of a photo which has already been photoshopped

I think you're right, BioDoc. I've got mine in front of me and the bottom pieces do look just like the one in the photo.

Either that, or they modified the top from the 'Customize Your Own Sonic' kit. I know the top you're talking about, and it looks similar to the one in the photo, but the one from the kit is made with ball-shaped clear plastic with thick silver "straps" crossing over it. It's also attached to a cone-shaped piece with louvers in it (part of the top, not separable) to let light out, and that part looks nothing like the one in the photo. So either they heavily modified that top from the 'Customize' kit and then photoshopped it further, or they bodged the one in the photo together from bits they had on hand and it coincidentally resembled the top from the 'Customize' kit.

I was thinking that the emitter was a brass thingy of that sort but not sure it's photoshopped although the light within it probably is.

The one thing that's bothering me about this... The way he's "holding" the sonic... Its been badly photoshopped, clearly by someone who's never seen someone holding a sonic screwdriver... You hand wouldn't look like that...

The master would say something on these lines: "sonic? who'd have sonic, try laser!"

I cant' remember the exact words he said on the episode "The Sound of Drums" or "Last of The Time Lords", but he made a comment along those lines. So more than likely it would be a laser of some type, unless they have specifically stated it was sonic.
