Well, while I've been busy working on working on not working on my 1/4" Brachacki console (which I really should get back to working on not not working on), I've also been busy working on a virtual console model (which is honestly more of my forte). I had already made a Brachacki virtual model, so this was the logical next step.

I used Tony Farrell's wonderful plans, or the ones released so far, for the dimensions and Time Rotor central column. I also used the reference images here, and pictures from others' models for some controls with no good photographic references. And a lot of squinting and guesswork, of course.

This is actually my second attempt at this console, but I had fewer resources and far less experience then. And wasn't as good at making the products of squinting and guesswork look pretty.

It was an, er, imperfect likeness.

I think this turned out better than my first try.

Panel Four. This and Panel 3 were probably the most heavy on guesswork what with all the graphics. Plus the pair of switches (?) above the telepathic circuits; I have no clue what those actually were.

Here are some close-ups of the meter graphics- the Time Ram dial is more or less screen accurate, but as some of the labels may indicate I pretty much made up the fine details for the rest. Pretty much all of the "meters", all but the Time Ram dial and the ones kept from the Brachacki console, are just flat graphics in the model. From what I can tell from the reference images, the originals all look like printed graphics too, but perhaps I'm not squinting hard enough.

Well, on to the Season 13 console, I guess!

Spectacular!!!   I made my own version of this console in Sketch Up earlier this year.   Nice work!!!

First of all, a very belated thank you!

Second of all, I've completely redone this model. I actually have models of 5 consoles now (see the link in my profile) but making a new thread for every one feels a bit spammy (and will feel more and more so as I do more modeling). Probably I'll make a combined thread of four later Sharp iterations (the S13 Christine Ruscoe revamp, S16, S19, S20) and post about the rest here at such time as I can build physical models of them.

Improvements in the model are mostly due to Tony Farrell's complete guide having come out, I think. There were a lot of small details I got subtly wrong in my old one using lower resolution images.

Excuse the terrible transparency layering, SketchUp is really touchy with it for some reason
