Yes,
I made the box on which the lamp stands more shallow,
I lowered the roof,
I removed a step from the roof,
I widened the top signs' "windows",
I removed the door handles,
I thickened the phone panel's frame and lastly added the St John Badge.
But I didn't repaint the window frames white!

Who said the camera never lies?! ;)

Thank you Tony for doing that, I always felt I was pretty close once was all said and done. I'll be putting this on the future projects list for sure.

HA!  Now that you point them out I can see them, but it's watching the shows on PBS as a kid all over again--I never noticed changes to the TARDIS.  It seemed a little different for "Leisure Hive" but I couldn't place quite why, but I never noticed when the Brachaki was retired.

It is a gorgeous box. I love that deep blue, the contrasting colour of the door furniture and how robust it looks

I'm glad this got resurrected.  When I first saw it, I was like:  "We haven't seen a TARDIS on a balcony in a decade or ...Oh.  Never mind."  This is an awfully nice box with 1963 Barachaki influences.  It's got more steps to the roof, and the lamp looks bigger, but it still has the great big cornerpost capitals.  Lock's on the wrong side for the 1963 prop too, but that's a decision I made as well.  I couldn't bear intentionally putting the lock on the "wrong" side from an actual police box.  A very nice box.

Thanks guys, I took elements that I liked and had them incorporated into this customized design.   That being said there are upgrades/changes i'll be making to it in time.  Once I finish the console I am going to shift to TARDIS work, rebuild the roof to line up with the brachkaki, paint the window frames white and maybe source some real pebbled glass if I can rather than the frosted and slightly pebbled acrylic in there now.  New door sign and new top signs to align with the original 63 box and a smaller fresnel as well as a full repaint with St. Johns ambulance badge.  I might do new doors for it as well to swap out for the more accurate look as well.    Lots of customization to do yet on her.  Thanks for resurrecting the post.
