Here is my finished Tardis door frame, I did for the 2018 office Halloween decorating contest.  (I did not win, but got the prize for honorable mention, so just as good as winning.)
It is not 100% accurate, but I was only going for close enough.

Among the many things I've learned here, doing a TARDIS doorway is arguably harder than building an entire TARDIS.  Modern ceilings don't encourage TARDIS materializations, and the usual door doesn't work well with the TARDIS style.  So unless you're in a pre-1920s building with French doors, it's almost harder put a TARDIS facade on a doorway than to just build an entire TARDIS.

One of the conference rooms is the "Sci Fi" room.  Star Trek, Dr Who, Star Wars, and other science fiction stuff.  The company offered to buy it from me for the Sci Fi room.     That is an honor in and of itself too!

They fully decorated the whole office with an underwater / pirate theme.  If I had had more time and built the Tardis console / interior, our sit / stand desks are large enough for 1/2 a console, then I think I would have given them a run for their money.

Start building the console for next years "halloween" then you can have it ready to just put it in when ready, LMSO.

BTW you did a brilliant job on the door way too!
