I wish CO had put this much effort towards accuracy and quality with their toys.

Is the box at the back of the group shot another Newbery?

Finished!

I'll probably get around to do a proper modelshoot at some point over the next couple of weeks; however...

Looks absolutely smashing. :)  The Doctor would be happy to call that home.

Wow! I would say if you put that bottle of Heineken next to the TARDIS and took a photo of them outside (like that last photo you posted), then you could say that it was the Master's TARDIS in disguise as a giant Heineken bottle... or something Father Jack Hackett mislaid and is looking frantically for! ;D

Seriously, that outside shot does make this model look full-sized! (Great model building, and great photographic work!) Have someone Photoshop you into that photo so it looks like you're leaning against the Old Girl (adjusting you to the correct height), and I'd bet no one would ever guess that was a Photoshopped image with a model TARDIS, unless you told them (and even then they probably wouldn't believe you, and ask to see the real build!).

Smashing stuff, Steve!! ;)

(Can't stop now...)

Have to agree with Dino, if I didn't know this was a model, I'd swear it was full size.   ;D

It's like we used the same plans!  ;)

tony farrell

Wait. What? There are plans available?! Well, cover me in creosote!! ;)

fivefingeredstyre

Well, I never said I was capable of original thought and this has become something of a tradition that I've just invented for myself...

You know the most time consuming part of that video was putting together the end credits. You have no idea how long it took me to isolate and clean up the "Woosh" noise that occurs when 'WHO' letters start tumbling into view at the end of the sequence...

These were taken at the same time this evening. The lighting is a little off as the sun was starting to fade. Blue is an absolute swine to light correctly...

Great work!

Wonderful as ever!
You can often tell when something's a model, but these give nothing away.
I keep expecting to see a six-foot tall Heineken bottle somewhere in your yard. ;)

And another vote for more of the "Many Doctors" photoshoot. There's something peculiarly appealing about that.
That and a shot or two of you leaning against it, as Dino suggested.

It would be an empty bottle...  ;)

Not sure about me leaning. I'll have a think about that.

Now I feel i've got a bit more used to resin work I'm planning on going over my original boxes, starting with the Brachaki. There's a few things that really bug me about them now (the windows in particular). Once i've got them up to standard a Many Doctors will follow...  ;D
