So Up for grabs is a PA3 Police Post in decent condition. Its deteriorated a bit and the Original sign is now all but gone.

For this Post I remember this one from Flickr in 2008. I recognized the fence behind the post in the photos on ebay. The Owner at that time mentioned he bought it off of Ebay.

This was probably done up by Unicorn Kiosks hence the £5000 first price. They used to sell them for quite a bit almost £6000 was the price I remember from 2008. There was one Post I recall that was sold on Ebay in the mid 2000s and went for £2500 after an offer.  

For the City Of London, its hard to say if that is true or not. All the Regional Posts looked the same. London tended to have a plate with the Coat of Arms on it, as the remaining Preserved Posts show. The Plate isn't evident here, and the Coat of Arms is Painted on. So I can't verify it is a City of London Post.

Still a good buy for someone that's been looking for one.
