Well, I don't think there's anything left for me to say that hasn't already been said by anyone else, but I'll give it a try anyway.

Such a beautiful, beautiful build and well executed. You can definitely see the amount of thought and effort that has gone into your TARDIS, and I just love that weathered paint job - it doesn't look artificial at all.

It is safe to say that I am extremely jealous of this build!!

Thanks people! It's been a lot of fun to do, and if people have enjoyed seeing it come together that's even better.

Well, I suppose it wasn't strictly necessary, but the lower panels particularly did get damaged and repaired a few times, so I made the panels interchangeable so I could swap out replica damage and repairs.

I've found that having those panels easily removable as hatches has been surprisingly useful during assembly for lining things up and getting them bolted.

Well it's going to need a new (lower) base for its usual home in a door way. The paint's drying as I write...

HA!  I had my "Face of Evil" moment.  I stumbled across this thread and wondered how I'd missed it.  Looked at the date and realized it was around when I was packing up and moving across country and figured that was it.  Then I saw that I'd posted in the thread.  "It seems I have been here before." 

This has to be one of the most amazing boxes I've ever seen on this site!

I wish I had a Police Box of my own. Closest I got was being in someone's Tardis at TupeloCon 2018.

I think if there's one thing better than having a Tardis, it's having built it.
My first one was cardboard (well, after the wardrobe...). The next was my first proper project with wood.
Here on the site we have all kinds, from fridge boxes to fibreglass - though mostly timber. And plenty of advice and encouragement.
So I'd say "go for it!".

Wardrobe?
