Not sure if this is the right place for this, if not maybe the Mods could help me out.

Anyways, thought I would make a display rack for my sonic screwdrivers.
Made using 6mm foam card, 13mm sequin pins, some 1.5mm card for the back & PVA glue.
Shelves are 250 x 50mm, sides I cut at 400mm them cut down when I had marked out for the sonics etc. seeing I only have these I didn't need the sides longer. If you have more make them to what you need. the back legs for mine are approx 323mm long, (made these last after everything was done).

I have a "push button torch" similar to Patrick Troughton's sonic he used in "War Games", but have left it blue.
Jon Pertwee's sonic, *
Tom Bakers sonic, * (*both recent purchases)
Eccleston /Tennant sonic, (my very first proper sonic)
Space for River's sonic,
Master's Laser Screwdriver, ("who'd have sonic")
Matt Smith's projector sonic,
Peter Capaldi's sonic, (which I got for Christmas).

I cut the sides at 60degree angle, then using the protractor, measured the distances between shelves, I made the mistake of measuring down one edge & when I put it together the heights were all out, so had to pull it apart & start again with new sides.

So you can see how it can make a difference.

While it was still wet, I measured up & cut the back, I used a grey colour, marked out 3mm from each edge, marked for the pins & pushed/tapped them through the card, to make it easier to put them in seeing foam card is easy to push them into, them glued the back on.
When it was all reasonably dry, I measured it up for the back legs to stabilize & support it & glued & pinned them on. left to dry, added my sonics & a nice finished product to display them on.

Hope I haven't rambled on to much.

Wow! Nice rack, Chris! (Okay... that sounded a lot better in my head.) Seriously, though, that's a great display stand for those sonic screwdrivers. (I see you also have the Master's laser screwdriver in there - he'd never have sonic. ;))

But right here in Other Prop Build Diaries is the perfect place for this, and it looks smashing! Well done!

Thanks Dino for the compliment, I forgot to mention the "Master's Laser Screwdriver" rectified. Knew I missed something but couldn't see it.  :-[  8)

It was that perception filter the Master built into his laser screwdriver that prevented you from seeing it! ;) ;D

Saw your link and came to check it out. Very cool Chris! As Dino said, nice... errrrr... display stand! ;) Very effective, and so simply and Master-fully achieved ;) I must admit, I am jealous of your pen-light! hmmmmm... you may have given me some inspiration for another build...  ;D

Hmm... not sure how I missed this one before! This is such a simple yet effective design and beautifully realised! (And a nice collection of sonics as well; I think I have the same - or at least a very similar - type of penlight.)

It beats the pot of sonics sitting on my desk, that's for sure! ;D

Thanks for the compliments on this one, the pen lights were from eBay < $5.00
I'll get around to posting the new version later today when I take some photos & get the plans converted.
I do them on "word" & seeing we can't post doc on here I have to convert them, which takes a bit of time.
