An extra pic I found, confirming that the windows are indeed lit up an orangey glowFB_IMG_1518639899392.jpg

Another tidbit that might've already been mentioned is that the window frames aren't white or even dirtied down white. They appear to be silver perhaps cast aluminum.

Even using recycled aluminium, assuming a small furnace running at 1000 degrees for an hour or so per pour and about an hour of feckling per window that would make them quite pricey. They would also be quite heavy, though not as much as with other metals, that much solid aluminium has some heft to it. I'm not saying you're wrong but I find it hard to believe they'd go to that effort and expense... look at the lamp. Maybe when we see it up close we'll be able to say with more certainty what the frames are made of but cast metal seems a little lavish.

Is it possible they've been assembled from box-section aluminium?

Small sections like that are available off the shelf in several sizes.

I also noticed a little bump on the vertical muntins at the intersections not unlike those seen on the Crich box. If nothing else, it can be said to be a high detail prop.

That seems more feasible in terms of cost and with the hollow pieces they'd be sturdy but much lighter.

after searching through twitter i came across this image hope this helps with anything :)
and as for the size of the prop like i estimated its on the small side like the classic TARDIS's which to be fair is lovely to see in a modern who TARDIS and the roof and bottom panels similar to an actual police box DWB2uKBX4AExjDG.jpg

It appears that the quarter round parts of said corner posts are really big, making the flat surfaces quite thin by all TARDIS and police box standards.  Corner posts stay the same dimensions but appear much more slender.

And a question:  Is this the first TARDIS we've seen with a 3 tier roof?  The TYJ and Hudolin props had the illusion of 3 tiers, but IIRC, they were only 2 tiers.  If so, this would be the first TARDIS with that aspect of a police box.

I think the consensus is that the post quadrants are indeed wider and the post plates narrower.
Here's my current guess on the plans thread: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=8428.msg106961#msg106961

The 2005 Tardis appears to have had narrower posts than this one.

The TYJ had 3 roof steps (albeit with the lowest below the post caps - level with the tops of the posts), the Hudolin 2 roof steps.

A set dresser just tweeted a photo with a good view of the structure.

Lovely image, gives us a good look at lots of structural details, like the three hinges on the doors.
The roof interior: I'm no expert, but I wouldn't have thought there would be those battens/bars whatever-ya-call-ems if the roof were fibreglass?
Also we can see that the window light-boxes hang on (brass) hooks with a little latch to hold them at the bottom. And, is that a hinged piece of wood to cover the inside of the PPCB top sign?
Oh, and finally: this angle makes it look like the top 'notch' (what are we calling them?) on the posts actually does line up with the bottom of the three steps above the doors.
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.

Well a friend of mine went up to where they had been filming today, and they left a few marks on the floor, including this one which might give an idea of what the base colour is....
