Hi davidnagel,
Thank you so much for your 2nd comment, it is very much appreciated.
I am chuffed that you think that the Tardis is a goodun!

OK, you have just raised the bar for the BBC set designers.  If they can make Jodie's new full size control room (we all agree she gets one, right?) look half this good they will have done well.  Your son is a very lucky boy to have a dad like you!

Simply spectacular job! Now all you need is to key some actors into the shot and you'll have an enviable fan video as well.

Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for your very flattering comment, I am touched that you think I have raised the bar for BBC set designers.
Michael Pickwoad has a streak of genius running through him, I have just tried to emulate his work to the best of my ability and within budgetary constraints.
Can't wait to see what they come up with for Jodie, being the first female Doctor, it has to be something spectacular!
I was inspired and motivated by my son to build him the Matt Smith Tardis for his 5" action figures, as you cannot buy it in the shops, so what else can one do, but ones best, for ones little whovian.
Thank you once again, your comment was very much appreciated.
Rob.

Hi lespaceplie,
Thank you so much for your comment, I am extolled that you think that the model Tardis is simply spectacular.
Nice idea about keying in some actors, I may well take the easy option and use the 5" figures to take some more pictures.
I am thinking about modding a figure to make the Victorian Governess version of Clara, to recreate the Snowmen scene where Clara first saw the inside of the Tardis.
As I have already bought the Victorian Doctor for my son and this is one of his favourite scenes, as he put it "the Tardis lights up and comes to life".
It was this scene that inspired a lot of the lighting to the model, as part my son's request in making this Tardis was for it to "look like the real thing".

... absolutely mind-blowing work! I take my hat off to you sir, I am not worthy! :)

Actually, there aren't enough words in my lexicon to describe just how amazing this console room is, or how much I admire it. And yes, perhaps a tinge of jealousy as well... ;)

Hi d33jr093r5,
Thank you so much for your comment, it really is appreciated especially given the fantastic work you yourself have undertaken.
I am so pleased that you think that the console room is amazing, it was an awful amount of work, but definitely worth it!
As to the tinge of jealousy, well, we shall all just have to wait and see what your fantastic 3d printing can turn up. Either that or you can wait to see what Santa brings you this year, and the alternative final solution , you could like Amy stated once, try "wish really really hard!!"

Thanks again, Rob.

Phenomenal stuff!  Some shots really blur the line between the model and the actual set, excellent work. :)  Nice homage to the 2005 Character Option playset. :)

Hi Kingpin,
Thank you so much for your comment, I am ecstatic that you think it blurs the line between model and set.
As to a homage to the 2005 Character Option set, I think it was that particular set which set the benchmark for this set, my son absolutely adored that excellent set and took it everywhere to play with. Hopefully, this will take its place.

Just as a nod and thank you, I thought I would inform you personally of another project that I have undertaken for my son, that I have mentioned on here in the past.
I have just posted the first build thread for a full size Junkyard Tardis, a lot of which was based on your superb pictures in the Doctor's Wife Alternative Console thread from some time ago, without a lot of your reference pictures, the job of creating that console would have been a lot harder, so thank you for all efforts. It can be found here; http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=8673.

They could superimpose matt smith and capaldi over that for a future episode. It's that good. Well done!

Hi ciderman,
Thank you so much for your comment, I am humbled that you think it is that good that they could superimpose Matt Smith over this.
They might not have to though, I will be working on (in the near future), a 5" Victorian governess Clara, to go with my son's Victorian garb Matt Smith.
I then hope to recreate the scene from the Snowmen, where Clara sees the inside of the Tardis for the first time, as that was the reference material that I used when creating this interior.
Thanks again, your comment is very much appreciated.
