I feel your pain.  For me it is the twilight shots, where the slanting light creates neat effects hitting the box, but the limited lens on a cell phone can't adjust shutter speed and F-Stop so it just winds up a murky mess.

Tried to take some misty, moody, shots of the TARDIS in the fog this morning, but they didn't come out as well as I hoped...

Steve ("Proper Steve" ;)), when I read your post and saw your photos, my first thoughts were 'Are you nuts? And what are you drinking because you've had a dozen too many!' Those photos are beautiful: like a TARDIS landed on the edge of the moors somewhere (or somewhere on the coast of New England in the US in the early morning hours). I think you're a bit hard on your photographic skills this time. You did great. (And Russell seems to agree, so I know it's not just me that thinks your photos are beautiful ones.)

Apologies for posting lots of pictures that are much the same; however it was really frosty this morning and the box looked amazing...

Apologies are not necessary - she is a gorgeous box - I don't mind the occasional winter pin-up. ;D :D ;)
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

The just slightly pink hue of the sunrise is really the icing on the cake for that shot.  Wonderful.

I think Nate and "Other Steve" have said it all, and said it well!

It was a frosty morning when Bambi called round to the TARDIS the other day...

All creatures know that the blue box means safety and a nice person...    ;D

For most creatures anyway, not so positive for some.

I love the look on its face, as if to say "and?"

Cardinal Hordriss

Or "I'd have preferred a Brachaki (sneer)" lol.

Just so you know I love your box

It's one thing I like about cats where even in your own house they can look at you like you're the interloper in their territory.

Or the old favorite (from a time when you could actually say this to someone without getting punched in the face):

"Why don't you take a picture; it will last longer!"
