why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

That's because it is - or, more accurately, it's a back-projection. It's also the same one as used in "World's End" AKA The Dalek Invasion of Earth, episode one!

Sofia Fox

If they used a blow-up/projection, what happened to the original? The last time it was seen (going off what I've seen) was Planet of Giants.

Check out episode 10 of The War Games.

Also, one panel (redecorated) was used in Colony in Space.

The original computer banks/Fault Locator wall seems to have been scrapped at the end of the Hartnell era along with the two lighting columns - the final appearance of both being in The Celestial Toy Maker (though, as we've seen, the Fault Locator did re-appear as a back-projection in The Tomb of the Cybermen). As Marc remarks a redesigned Fault Locator wall made an appearance in The War Games and at least one panel from this replacement was used in The Colony in Space.

Here is my first attempt at a layout for this console room.

So using my Troughton console with identifiable panels, the radiation panel points towards the doors and would appear so:

Does anybody got a good picture of the projection without anything obscuring it?

This exists only as a back projection in the two stories I mentioned (Dalek Invasion of Earth - World's End and Tomb of the Cybermen - episode 1) so you are very unlikely to be able to get a 'clean' version which isn't partly obscured by either the actors or set dressings.

That said, I suppose the original photo from which the 'back-projection' was drawn might still exist somewhere in the dark recesses of the BBC's archives!
