Missy's Device Mk.2 (Series 9)

Well, I've just finished the bracelet, and I'm currently working on

, so the next item in Missy's arsenal is of course her multi-purpose device, capable of vapourising your enemies in seconds, freezing planes mid-flight, and, most importantly, taking selfies with.

I know I'm doing this in reverse order, but this one seemed a little less detailed/complicated to build than the Mk.1 device from series 8. I began by scaling the concept art and removing as much of the background as I could to get a more "printer friendly" version to use as a template for the build. (If you open the image in a new tab, then download it to your computer before printing, it should print at the correct scale.)



I chose to print this on blue paper because blueprints just look cooler if you print them on the correct paper. (That's why they're called blueprints! )


The plan now is to use this to build a cardboard frame, then build up the shape of the device around that, before adding the other detailing afterwards.

I'm really looking forward to working on this build!
