Police Box key and Policemans whistle

A couple of weeks ago I was given priveledged acess to a genuine Police Box key. It was last used in 1966. Its owner, a long since retired Policeman told me he had never blown the whistle in anger! Along with the key and whistle were his pips, Long Service Medal and truncheons. I include photographs of all these items here. He also told me that if I were to build a completely accurate model of a Box, I must cover the floor with fag ends! And the log books were bloated and dog eared!
