2011 "The Doctor's Wife" Alternate Console

Now looking at this from this point in time,
It seems to me that the new console is
like a big version of this little one. Especially
on the structure of the console. Anyone else
see that? I mean, in the "Journey to the center of the TARDIS"
episode, when the console was junked up, you
could see the frame work of the console a bit,
and there are some photos on here somewhere of
when they were building the new one, and they
look quite similar to this photo

I found this shot of the early stages of the console being built that proved most helpful to me in wrapping my head around the "bones" of it.

I think its interesting of just how similar the two are.
Maybe perhaps they were thinking when they
built these afterall

I still wish I had this little junkyard console in my
garage though.
