Like it a lot.

One minor thing, though - the smaller levers and the larger levers. The curved sections on each are currently made from squashed half-cylinders. They need to be constructed from a section of an unsquashed cylinder, if you see what I mean. Or just bury the unseen bit of the cylinder below the panel.

They're also all a bit on the wide side. And strictly speaking - the smaller levers taper slightly towards the top...

Definitely getting there, though.

BTW, it's a post-Inferno version you're currently building. The two large levers were only placed next to each other from Claws onwards.

C, your profile diagrams from your thread would be invaluable here I think :)

The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.

And the press get fed the scapegoats,

Thanks Celation. It looked to me, from the references, that the lever bases were quite long and shallow with a long arc. I thought a regular half-cylinder would be too tall. I zip over to your thread and have a good looksy though.

Okay.. I can see what you mean about the levers. Any idea precisely what the deuce that is nestled between them?

Also, was the Fast Return Switch still on the Console by The War Games?

Fast Return Switch was still on the console by the War Games. But part of the back had been removed. And also there are 2 white pots added the other side of that panel (where he put the "Emergency Unit" in the Mind Robber.

You can get some good grabs from that scene. :)

I love mentioning this one: The Fast Return Switch didn't appear till episode 2 of The Edge of Destruction!

I actually happen to have the DVD of the Mind Robber in front of me. I'll finish remodeling these lever boxes and then do some screen capping :D

I have perused Episode 1 of the Mind Robber and found some useful bits and bobs.. Still no clear idea of what is between the two main switches on Panel , but I did notice this:-

Hole.png

A hole where I'm guessing a 6th light was. I'll fetch the drill!

Looking better.

BTW. There should be only five lights in total (or four and a hole!).

The red/yellow levers look like they could do with a little work to get the right scale, spacing and lever size.

Plus, notice on this console that the black switches are pushed to the other end - towards the large grey levers.

I like the detail of the batten-holding screws.

Blimey.. How did I not notice their were only four lights? Unbelievable! It just goes to show, it pays to have other people check over your work.
