Hi Yal!
Quick update for ya. Getting a printer coming in soon in which i will be testing and modifying the kits and etc so they print as needed. Also gonna be looking into the possibility of doing 3.5inch scale tardis' too as well as the 5inch scale ones. I can confirm i will not be releasing the files publicly I am sorry to say.

Been a while. Got my printers come in and been busy doing bits and bobs. And had an interesting commission come in which was doing the 13th Doctors Tardis Box in 5.5inch kinda scale. I started the design from scratch and got it all done and shipped off to my client who just finished putting the kit together and painting it all up and etc. And I must say Im incredibly impressed and proud with this box. Last time I saw it, it was green having just been printed lol. Got a couple more similar commissions come in so I maybe updating this with other ones I do. Im currently trying to design my own tardis exterior for my own custom Doc which will be interesting but first Ima get my own tardis collection complete before that. Atm I've printed off the Brachacki TARDIS and am just getting that box done then Ima get the other ones done and such, But i do have a question, Does anyone have a collection of the various tardis interior pics/ renders from the doors? I kinda want to be able to display the boxes with a door open and you can see the console rather than the back of the walls.76262877_2818942034796225_3449271313246453760_n.jpg

My custom tardis design in the 5.5 inch (1/13) scale. Turned out really well. Aside from the lamp to box os now done. Next box will either be 13s or the war docs.

To be precise, the CO range is meant to be 1:13 scale. Not sure why they picked 1:13 instead of 1:12, since that would have saved a lot of trouble in terms of scaling things properly, but oh well.

Yep CO scale is 1/13, i've been using Tony Farrells plans to make 3D printed boxes and they are spot on to the figures in that scale.

Well, I was waiting to see how the CO 13th Tardis would turn out and seeing how bad it is. I'm gonna make one of my own kits but for me this time. So onward with my 13th (Really my own 3rd printed tardis, Although actually my 8th police box replica in my collection) TARDIS Exterior! Currently trying to clean up some images of the tardis interior for the backdrop so it's actually properly distanced and not like the camera is right in front of it.

What filament do you use for the lamp ?

I'm thinking of printing out a 3D model but was wondering how to make a clear Fresnel other than making a mould.

What made you decide to go with a white phone panel?

The main body and etc of the Tardis is FDM printed with green filament while the lamp and the windows are printed with clear resin using an SLA Printer.

I dont really know. I just wanted to make it different to Jodies. The main basis of the box is Jodies and I didnt want it to be just a small edit of Jodies. So I wanted a fair few differences. Like the handles and lock are placed differently and so I went for the tennant era signs

That's a little bit of a throwback to the classic series, then (in a way).  The first TARDIS had white window trim.  But the model had blue window trim [so a TARDIS with blue windows would land on an alien planet and then the crew would get out of one with white windows].  Later, the phone door turned to a dark background with light lettering (and the window trim was painted blue).  But the model retained the white phone panel.  You can hang your model from some fishing line in front of a space backdrop, give it a spin, and add some spooky electronic music and have it be a retro establishing shot for a Jody Whittaker scene.
