Are you taking screen caps from the DVD release?  They just seemed a little on the low-res/fuzzy side.

multiversesentai

No, I found them on a Doctor Who blog called The Tiger Who Came To Tea. Would you like a link to the blog?

Kingpin

Thanks, but that won't be neccesary.  :)  One thing I had been planning to do was screen cap TARDIS props in the Eccleston-Smith episodes uploaded to BBC Iplayer, as they're currently available at the moment.

Please include a link with any reference images you find elsewhere on the net.

The distinction between plagiarism and reference is citation.

Tip of the day: When searching for images on google [or search of choice],how to search.jpg

why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Guess they really were that fuzzy on the iplayer upload.

I appreciate there's some duplicates here, but figured I'd grab them, as well as a few shots not posted amongst the earlier stuff:

Likely because the show wasn't filmed in HD until Planet of the Dead, so any screengrabs will be SD, or up-scaled (and therefor fuzzy) at best.
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.

Additionally - most of series 1 the cinematographer preferred to use a subtle blur effect for ALL shots - thus you get the lights continually blooming, a bit like a continual dream-like haze over the show.  This does create some great light effects, but at the expense of further fidelity of the image.  To see the difference most starkly compare Dalek (filter on) (ep 6) to The Long Game (ep 7) (filter off) and you can see that 625 lines can be much clearer.

I was there when they filmed Rose getting off the red double decker bus outside Hendricks department store. I took quite a few photos which I cant find at the moment! When I do I will upload them here. I remember having a nice shot of the Tardis flat-packed in the back of a van. I will have a good look soon for them

I look forward to your follow-up! :-)
