Ok there's a lot of weird stuff in this (and try not to poke your eyes out before the TARDIS appears :))

Now there is mention of the Time War so it has to be a recent episode of this program. However the box looks like the Yardley Jones box (to my eyes at least) with one interesting difference. Unless my eyes are mistaken... The sign boxes have the wider sides (like the Newberry and Brachacki ones)...

What do you lot think? (Skip to 1:14 if its too painful) ;)

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

I would say the Yardley-Jones box, possibly the Mark 1. Though something's odd with the door lock. It appears to have been placed in exactly the samre position as the one on the Brachacki box in the early Hartnell stories.
This would fit around the time of Colin Baker, which is presumably why the Krankies are trying to give a startlingly realistic impression of the Doctor & Mel! The mention of Time War is just a coincidence. Thankfully the Krankies have not been on TV since last century.

Exactly right, rani, and they're using the back doors, hence the odd lock positioning.

Must be just my eyes with the sign boxes then...

...probably from the pain of sitting through that pizzle :)

Nah, it's not your eyes - the encoding has gone a little blocky and it does look the way you said, but if you look at the start where they step out, you can see how the signs really are, the proper full width style.

As Dale said, it is the back of the box we're looking at here - the mark two Trial of a Time Lord Yardley Jones prop.  Oh those were the days, when it looked nice.  Not the heap of falling to bits tat that it is now.

That is a messed up 80's show.  Who's the little person playing dual roles?  He/She is scary.

Jimmy Krankie, played by Jeanette Krankie... Scary... that doesn't even cover it!  :o

The bottom picture is Mark II, not long after the forklift drove into it, check out the fracturing going on at the bottom of the "left" wall - though technically it's the right as this is the rear of the box.  Also, the patched up sign lintel with the hardboard frame surround... that was only ever on this side, again, due to the forklift.

Why don't people watch where they're driving, eh?

It's also an anagram of: "The TARDIS Rebuilders".

To my knowledge, AB still has the MK I YJ TARDIS, the Five Doctor's Console, and other bits and bobs.

He certainly had the console when I last spoke to him. I didn't know he had the TYJ though or I would have mentioned that too :P

I hope he has still got it because it's the last hope of a Yardley-Jones making it into the annals of history; I think the MkII has had it, hasn't it?
