This is Mk I and the story is Caves of Androzani - these are quite well known pictures and are perhaps the main ones that I used to love as a kid.  I'd look at these and dream that one day I'd have that box... nearly came true, twice.

As to why there are no bolts in evidence - they were only on the back fascia (this is the front in the pictures above) which was used heavly during season 19, by this point, the back was totally knackered - even the sign box was smashed to oblivion and was removed.  It all gets repaired toward the end of season 21.

or perhaps the leisure hive?  Then again, I think that the tardis was newer looking in that one.

I just know that it was on the beach in the beginning.

(EDIT):  On closer inspection, I don't think that this is a photo of a beach.  Now this is bugging me.  Does anyone know what episode this is?  Purple, Dale . . . ANYONE?!?!?

That TARDIS started life in Leisure Hive. I *think* this must be the MK II as there's no bolts on the pillars... I *think* it was the MK I that had  most repairs done at this stage... (see Time Flight thread...)

Mr Purp will say if I'm right.

But this is definitely from Caves of Androzani... I've never seen that first pic in such clear quality.
