Here's my dimensionally transcendental model of the Twelfth Doctor's TARDIS.
After posting it on YouTube, a couple of people suggested posting it here - hope you like it!

The TARDIS exterior is a customised 3:75 scale "Spin & Fly" toy. The box is built of foamboard, and the interior is foamboard, cardboard, styrene, silver paper and other bits and pieces.

The original idea was just to make the illusion work, but I got carried away...

You can say that again! Stunning is a gross understatement! That last photo... the close-up of the whirligig looks like a close-up of the one on the actual set! :o :o :o

You almost sound like the Brigadier from "The Three Doctors" when he finally gets his first look at the inside of the TARDIS: "So this is what you've been doing with UNIT funds and equipment all this time. How's it done? Some sort of optical illusion?" :)

Very clever and well executed.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

heres the diagram i made the build is one big box cut in half the front is the box and room with light diorama thats the left side of the image and the back wall of it doesn't exist its two mirrors on an angle making it reflect the walls and on the other side is the interior diorama and that wall at the end is a mirror reflecting the interior walls round the console making it look bigger on the inside the mirrors are the orange lines on my diagram am i correct?diagram .jpg

Awww... you killed the magic  ;D

That's not really how it's done, though. What you do is get two boxes one larger than the other. Then you take the large one, and move it far away so that it looks smaller...

Then you find away of having it over there and having it close by at the same time...

It's a key Time Lord discovery, you know....
