You may have noticed two clips in the roundel by the doors, in the pictures above.

These clips held the Time Vector Generator Rod in place, at the start of The Wheel In Space episode 1, for The Doctor to pull out as he and Jamie escape The TARDIS.

The clips remained visible up to and including The War Games, but were gone by the time of Claws Of Axos.

Ah sorry about that, I did a search before, to see if it came up, but couldn't find anything, although I only checked under Wheel In Space.
