I found a printshop that does large scale prints like the long signs and they laminate too.  I'm probably going to get them to print the phone door sign too, since the other places I called only go up to 11x17 and I need it 12x13, but I might take it with me and try to dirty it up a bit, maybe with a cotton ball and an ink pad or dirt itself before I get it laminated, unless they have some specialty paper that looks the part.

i believe there are a couple of pdf files floating around. you can take that to your local sign shop, it'll probably cost you about fifty dollars for all four, or you could make them yourself there is a thread in which a builder made his... i think it was kb's build.

Thanks for the info.  I think that there is a sign shop just around the corner from where I work.  Any idea how long it usually takes a shop to make them?  Seems like it would be a fairly simple job.

I'm waiting on a reply from i think signsrus.com. for the "pull to open" sign. I'll let you know how that goes.

it all depends on their work load at the time... it is  simple and if your lucky you could get them in a day

Actually, I got a quote of $179 from a local sign shop.  They are a bit pricey if you want them done in acrylic.

Wow, that does seem high.  since none of my signs are backlit, I think I'll go with all metal signs.
I have yet to check on prices, though.

i'd keep looking 179 is a bit steep. smaller sign shops will probably be able to give you a much better price

179 seems high, I had 4 acrylic backlit sings made and they were closer to 100 US dollars.  Not sure why yours is quoting that high, it took about a week to get them.  I would shop around.

well, that also included the phone box sign as well as the 4 Police Box banner signs.   So the pricing kinda broke down to $29 for the phone box sign and $37.50 a sign for each of the banner signs.

oh ok, now that you break it down like that I can see,  that's on par then I think.  I would still shop around but the price is on the money I think.

So who has the PDF file for the Police Box signs, or where on this site can I find it?
I've looked around, and while they are mentioned a lot on various threads, I haven't noticed any links!

Thanks.  :)

Any company that makes outdoor vinyl or dimensional signs can do it. Black Vinyl (cast is preferred for logevity) applied over 1/4" sign white acrylic is what you need.

In my area here in north texas, this is the company I'd use for something like this. http://www.ntxsigns.com/ You can look at their site to get an idea of the kind of company that does this work.
