The filename is "camel.jpg."  So perhaps it's the Prog Rock band Camel?

Ha, so there is - it rather puts paid to the idea that it's any sort of genuine box.

And yes - the dudes are Camel. Their top sign mystifies - perhaps someone was a slave to symmetry?

I think you're right Purple, the box was, IIRC, shown in DWM... it's also very similar to the box used in the first Prime Computers advert, even down to the incorrect signage... have to say I've never heard of Camel...

I remember reading something about octagonal police boxes opening in London. I found a link that talks about a met police case study for a modular police box - and yes, it's octagonal.

Has anyone heard about this before?
