Hello all...

Joined up the other day as I want to build a TARDIS to place in front of a study in the house I am buying. I'm sure, as many newbies do, I have made the first critical error: underestimating the sheer size of the ol' girl. I am still coming to grips with the fact that the NST is almost 10 feet!  :o

Now I'm at a cross-roads; should I re-scale to follow original plans, or make a garden-TARDIS? Both are cool options- I really didn't want to rescale for realism's sake, but wanted it in the house too! Ho-hum...

Flaming welcome lol.

Yup... huge until you try to fit different things inside. Lawn mowers, for example, don't fit. Little red wagons fit if you don't close the door. However, I guess you could rent it out as a guest 'house' if you really need to have it outside. They'll just have to not try and park their car inside it.

I'm sure, one of these days, we'll figure out how to make it bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.

CHEERS! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Until next time, remember to, "Simply reverse the polarity of the neutron flow."

I say scale it down, keep it indoors.  It'll last far longer.

welcome cr0nic, i'd say scale it down too or just raise the ceiling outside your study :)

(even scaled down a bit it'll still be very large)

Cheers to both for the feedback; I found a copy of the layout where 1 inch = 12 inches so I'll measure up over the next day or two and see what the dimesions would be...

Isn't that the truth, I was amazed at how huge it really is!

Cheers again, hopefully you will all be seeing another build diary appear over the coming weeks...
