I just made these (while doing some other grabs) from the Claws of Axos DVD.

Still green! Is this the Apple Green you were talking about Purp, or was it originally lighter?

Interesting that there really does look like bugger all was done to the controls even at this stage. Except of course that big metal panel that was also in evidence during Inferno. Pretty much just the red lines and some text been painted on, also some new levers.

Nice shot of the 2nd Rotor in there too :)

excellent screen caps! I always wondered what that tiny dustbin was doing on the console, now I see it seems to fit into the panel. Did no one ever think to dust the top of the time rotor, or was that deliberate to stop the lights bouncing off?

Weirdly that pale green is the very colour of the walls of the room I'm sitting in right now.

Nice shot of the 2nd Rotor indeed!!!   ;D   What are all the doohickeys down the sides of the Rotor interior???   Looks like colour gels squares of some sort.   Otherwise it looks very similar to the Tom Baker era Rotor.

Yeah, I always thought that the main difference was that the tubes were green. There's WAY more going on! :)

Here's my new console colour BTW... what do you guys think?

Well if it isn't exactly the right colour then it is VERY close.   I like it.   As always you do great work, I look forward to the finished product.

Here's an update (thought I'd leave the old thread to go away on its own as this is practically a new build).

07-11-23-Render03.jpg

This panel is ALMOST finished. I want to build some knobs for a pertwee style and also add the white pods that the Emergency Unit from the Mind Robber will go on...

A vast improvement on the old, I think you'll agree! :)

OK, so moving on... should I move the continuation of this into the TARDIS interior forum now? ;)

Looks lovely! I'd love to see a 'planetary flyby' of the console, skimming low over the panels and between the switches, and then swooping out again. You know - house fly meets NASA voyager space probe.

I could do that, would take a few days to render off... But I'd need to put in the Doors (which I don't think were there in the Power Of The Daleks console room - which is what this is designed to be) and the um "4th wall".

Neither of which is a problem to do :)

I'll see what I can knock up for you this week :)

I still need to try to make some slightly more accurate meter gradiations... I have grabs of all but one of them.

Glad you like! :)

LightWave, I know you're using Maya (can you export as a obj?)

But really, it was just a joke Marc, I wasn't expecting you to let anyone get their hands on your lovely model!!!

Cheers

I know you weren't serious ;)

But to be serious for a moment... I might have let you have it, as its you :) (a fellow TR2er and W3Der :)) But if you're following the Power of the Daleks thread at w3D you may have read my comments on obj format... I have had a lot of problems with it, going between LW and Maya...

Also, its not quite finished yet. Nothing really noticable... But I want to make the meter gradations a bit more accurate. (and give one to the radiation meter...)
