Model Console Room (was More Pictures)

I am not certain if this is in the right section or not....

It had occurred to me that when I last visited the loft for (K9, Cybergun ect...)
I had some other models (Dapol Scale) that I made when I was around 15 - 17 years old.
I used cardboard again for the model and used the small plastic insert found inside drink bottle lids for the roundels. A two pence piece was the exact size to draw around to get the size of hole for the roundels to fit inside. I also used this to drw the roundel details along with an old five pence piece and a penny to get the small concentric circles on the drawn roundels too.

The console is infact an extremly battered Dapol model that was dropped and broken, which I then re-painted and decorated

I re-assembled the model only very recently, again I am afraid they now look very old and battered, but I hope you enjoy these too

Pretty excellent - especially given your age at the time!
They must represent many hours of work. You've also lit them very nicely for the photos.
I hope you're planning to take up the hobby again - it would be lovely to see that Season 14 console room completed.

I am hoping to rebuild the Console Room set again soon, as I now have got the model making bug AGAIN!!!

I always wanted to make a permanent model of both rooms, with  a bit of time and not too much of a great expense I hope to be able to re-create them again...

One tries Dale, one tries    ......It's amazing what you can find to do when you are brought up in a small village with very few children of the same age  in it leaving my younger brother, older sister and myself to find things to do....I was immersed in model making, hence these results...
