Braidfauld Street Box

The Box on the island at Braidfauld Street and Toolcross Road - C8.

This is another one of those handful of alternate type concrete Boxes installed in 1933 (mostly in C Division) alongside the more familiar Trench inspired design.

Here it is circa 1961, showing that it was retained in its original form for much, if not all of its operational life --
