Justin's TARDIS Begins...

Hey Guys,

New update!

Its done! The Tardis is completely built and we brought it home Tuesday. Now I am in the process of fine tuning, filling, painting and all that jazz! I have to get more blue paint, however the label faded...whoops...hope I get the right colour when I go in....

Well got more work done...Including a new paint colour...was not entirely happy with the blue I had before. But I will be weathering the heck out of this new stuff so its all good!

Lovely lamp shots Primrodo. What Dowel thickness did you use for the lamp struts? I plan to fix my lamp when it leaves the Museum. I basically ran out of time to get them on .

I used 1/2" Chris, they looked about right and were pretty sturdy.

Tom, I have a bit of weathering work which will help the shade I think but here is a massive update!

Approve!? Its a great build! My fresnel is sadly still sitting packed away in its box. My beginnings of lamp building never materialised sadly

Anywho. Yes you have a great build here and you'll make many people envious! I'd suggest moving your poster up a tadge though, so the camera can't see the back of the rear signage

Get some black emulsion weathering on there and it will be perfect.
