KB:

I hope the old grommets help your hearing.  You can get back to playing your axe.

Cheers,
Jon~

Hi All
It's spot the dfference:

Signafter.jpg

The new sign is made using the ol' KB method, only this time doing the blue first, thus allowing the white letters to shine out
Only three to go ::)
Many thanks

Love that last shot. For some reason I can just see an old copper in there, feet up on the desk smoking his Woodbine  :)

"Blimey KB, Nothing for months and now

three updates in as many days"
"Yeah KB, but thanks to my nameless benefactor (Anotherwheeze, John, that bloke from Hartfield) this is just a bit special"

The Met box is now truly, well "Mettish":

Did you repaint your box a darker blue?  Looks alot more like the Met Blue.

OMG Chris  :o

She looks fantastic, just like the real thing! I'm guessing that the boxes were very similar in colour to the Police Uniform?

Did you go with the neat colour, or did you mix a little of the other blue in?

I cannot wait to see it in the flesh mate.

Love Elsie, you are doing a superb job there mate. My kids cannot wait until she's finished too.

:)

P.S. You need to change your avatar now  ;)

Hi john
Glad you like it, we went with the neat colour in the end, and I did take off the handle and St. Js plate as we discussed. Hope the garden is getting there. You and family are most welcome to come over and have a gander once you've got some free time.
Change my avatar? ??? It took me a month to work out how to put it up in the first place. Naah, I'll get Robert to do it. ;D
See you soon

Well, I must say that this is the box I wish I had. You can't beat a proper met box  :)

Are you pleased with the colour Chris, or do you need time to get used to it?

In case anyone was wondering about the colour, it is Dulux Royal Blue Weathershield Gloss. Best place to get this, or any Weathershield TRADE (8-year protection) gloss is Brewers. They can mix virtually any colour you like.

Garden is still a mare, and I have a loooong way to go yet  :(

See you soon mate.
