Ok, this is my first attempt at a tardis. Mainly, I build geometrical models and geodesics.
It's 1/8th scale (actually 3mm/1inch). My starting point was a PDF plan for a fullsize Tardis from Tardisbuilders.co.uk. I made some mods to their design to (IMHO) better reflect the proportions in images off the BBC website.
It's made from 300gsm card bought as a scrap block from my local craft shop for £1.50 a block, of which I used about a third.
Adding 1 sheet of A4 paper, laser printed with decals (My printer costs 4p a sheet to run), about a spoonful of pva (about a penniesworth as I buy it in gallon cans) and a new stanly knife blade an the whole project cost about 60p. Not bad for the hour of fun I had making it.

The internal lighting is just a Fenix P1D torch (Just? Sheesh! That's no way to talk about the torch God would have if he didn't have that fiat lux trick.)

The background is holographic glitter impregnated black card from "The Works". I'm well pleased by the effect of the light shining on it through the door in the night sceen. It looks almost like tarmac.

Yes, yes, I know I missed the lock and handles. I'm looking for some through-coloured matt gold card to make a lock bezel and some clear nail varnish to gloss up some black card door handles that I've wet moulded and am drying out in the airing cupboard.

That looks really nice and is just like the real thing. In fact better than the real thing.

Your model is so good in fact that the first pic (night time shot) made me think it was a computer generated image.  Very impressive model sir.  :o

WOW!  I thought it was cgi also, until I saw Handofomega's comment and took a second look.  Amazing for an hours work.

What did you use for windows?

Oops! That should have been 'hours of work'. Sorry for the confusion. About 6 hours at a guess.
The windows are laserprinted on 80gsm acid free paper, same as the signs.
