Had the urge to watch The Invisible Enemy and decided to take some screen captures of the RDS while I was.








The side that connects to the wall has 6 rare earth ring magnets

Interesting. It looks to be about 8 inches by 14 inches (rough guesses; in bottom view with Baker holding it, it looks about the size of a sheet of legal paper). Going by that, I'd guess the short side is about 3 inches and the tall side is about 4 inches, and the grey part at the very bottom is about .5 to .75 inches thick. Two large red lighted rocker switches (similar to the rocker switches found on the "Five Doctors" console), and three lights above them: two square red and one rectangular blue. A very simple design, yet functional. I love it!

It would be nice if we could have gotten a better look at what they stuck inside that red box.

Is that Duct Tape they have covered the bottom edges with?!???

Looks like it - I guess the metal edges were a bit sharp and had to be hastily covered over.

I'm not sure why but the "tape" looks like it id the dark grey stuff and not the silver stuff. I suppose it could indeed be placed over the edges to prevent the actors cutting themselves. It does give the sides we were meant to see a 'finished' look. Tom probably wasn't meant to show us the side with the magnets. 

The Doctor's RDS from his TARDIS so he & Leela's clones could be reduced to microscopic size & injected into his body to fight "The Prawn Spawn".

I noticed only the top 3 lights operated, & that was when he pressed the 2 bottom buttons.
