Darth, that's a beautiful console. It also appears that somewhere your photo has caused inspiration. I don't know where she found this, but The Evil One did and liked it so much that she posted it on her Facebook page:

You could be on your way to becoming a "meme"! (Oh, but can there be a better way of doing it? I think not!)

Ya, I made that, it has been shared so many times I stopped looking at 400. lol

That's very cute. :D
And I see you have the Great Carpet of Rassilon, also...

Crispin

I was thinking the same thing about the carpet when I seen it. LOL

awesome consol. is the sound on a loop or do you have it wired up where the buttons make the sound? again great build

THe buttons and levers actually work the sounds and the rotor. It will also open the future door and view screen someday. The video display on the console itself works as well showing clips of the real TARDIS from the show.

This is really looking excellent - and my favourite console too! :)

you both look fantastic. The console will keep you warm on your adventures.
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Nicely done, Moose! How did you cut those roundel circles so perfectly? (I know they don't make drill bits or hole saws that large, and a jigsaw wouldn't make things so uniformly perfect.)

I imagine he used something like this:

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

I just used a regular cheap router with a jig. :)

Wow! It all came together very nicely. You've got one heck of a set-up there: TARDIS entrance, beautiful console, great roundel wall and green screen backdrops... I'm sure you worked wonders with it all that day! Really great job on everything!

Router and jig for the roundels... I'll keep that in mind (and see if anyone I know has a router for when the time comes for me to need one).

Once it warms up here I plan to make the rest of the walls so we will not need the green screen anymore. Complete with working door and scanner. Eventually I will make the correct roundles as well.  All the buttons and levers on the console work and make the appropriate noises. They also operate the column and the future door. :)
Thanks for all the kind words! XD

Wow, i love this. We need more like it.

Nice work so far, Moose! It's looking great. Battle on!

Dino.
P. S. Don't look... just move slowly away; there's a Dalek materializing from what looks like an "Emergency Temporal Shift" on your 4 - and it's looking straight at you!
