A transcendence of TARDISes

I had two spare days over Christmas and decided to make a TARDIS in Blender.  It got all out of hand.

Fantastic work, but I think that perhaps the sign box surrounds on the last 2 might need to be a little thicker. Amazing detail. ;-)

You may well be right, but I took the measurements from the Doctor Who Exhibition plans that someone posted up here.  It's possible the plans differ from the actual prop.  I suspect it's actually the right width but I've over-stepped the bevel effect on the front face.

The Hudolin prop was particularly awkward to get - although there are various plans knocking around, the panel depth never quite looks right when I use those plans.

Really great renders!

A couple of things about the Brachacki refub:

The tabs above the doors were "clover leaf" shaped
The lamp didn't lose the housíng till a bit later (certainly by Planet of Spiders).

Thanks for the info re the clover tabs - I hadn't picked up on that.

I was looking at the Spiders-era box, although mine's not as knackered as the actual prop and I didn't change the signbox style on the side panels either.

I think it's just the front one that has blue letters on white.
