I reckon some of you will have seen this pic before but here it is anyway. Just looking at Scarfwearer's photos makes me think foxes may have a special affinity for time vessels...

Meantime,
that is an incredible photo mate!  Did you photoshop the fox in or was that in your garden?
I did not know Red fox was common in your neck of the woods!  :P
Nice build!  Thanks for sharing... Cheers!

The only photoshopping was when I cropped the pic down to hide the washing line. I just opened the curtains one morning about a month ago and there the beasty was, having a lovely nap. Yeah, there are a lot of foxes in London - I just wish their courtship wasn't so rowdy. :-/

I've a vague memory that there used to be a thread about wild life enjoying the company of Tardises but I can't find it so if there is, please move this in there.

Anyway, I opened the curtains this morning and saw this cheeky fellow having a nice nap (yes I know the garden is in a state)

I really thing this is one of the best shots of a TARDIS in a garden.  It really looks the part and I am waiting for our Doctor (any of them), to walk out behind those TARDIS doors...

Thanks IZ, what a lovely thing to say. The old girl has been out there quite a few years now and is surviving nicely. This year she's getting a new lick of paint, meant to do it last year but life got in the way.

Wildlife update - Foxy has since returned but has started to dig great big holes in the flower beds  :-/

Here she is.She's been outside quite a long time now and still going strong, although the paint has faded over the years.

I think it's because a Police Box has always been a welcoming sight. When the police still used them, they represented safety and reassurance, especially to children (because they meant Policemen, and when I was a kid in the 60s, Policemen still made you feel safe), and what could be more reassuring in the snow than a nice warm Police Box!

Although the London Metropolitan Police phased them out during the later part of the 1960s, funnily enough another character took possession at the same time, and now in the 21st Century an image of a Police Box in the snow still means safety and reassurance to children everywhere.

Which is rather sweet really.

I'm not often moved by the words of others, however in this case I have to confess.  Well said, sir.  Well said.

Agreed, and that's an excellent TARDIS too! I don't recognise it either, could it be I missed a thread about it? That's one of the best i've seen.

I agree! I think your garden being in a(so called) state adds to the impact of your picture!

I was looking at your wonderful picture and it suddenly occurred to me, I wonder if the Timefox is laying there thinking  'Am I... Ginger?'

Your TARDIS is so lovely meantimebob!
