Great progress.   Maybe I'm too old school but I rather like the clean untextured walls too, quite a nice colour-scheme...

riftmaster

the walls are untextured, my render engine (Luxrender) is very grainy.

A big thanks to Rob Semenoff (http://www.interocitor-media.com/tardis/) for giving me reference images for the layout and general advice  :)

I agree; this is looking fantastic. One comment on the "legs" of the console: they do angle back slightly from the "feet" as they go up. You can see it in this publicity photo from the BBC site (cropped to meet Forum size limits):

Again if your browser auto-sizes it to fit the window, open the image in a new window to see it enlarged.

I know Matt and Karen are mostly blocking things, but you can still see the angle in the console's legs, especially on Karen's side where the console's legs are more visible. (Remember we are looking at the console's legs; not Karen's!)

Hey guys, thanks for the lovely comments :)

I have hit a brick wall at the moment, i cannot work out the shape of the back wall, more specifically the frame around the door

until i can figure this out, this project is on hold :(

Do either of these help? I know the angle is slightly different than what you've done, but it's as close (and as large a view) as I could find. (You might have to right click and open the images in a new tab or window to see them full size if your browser re-sizes them for the Forum.)

I have worked out a rough shape for the back wall, thanks to the images in rob49152's thread (and the close-up posted by galacticprobe).
I have also created the side-wall and changed the stairs
