  Thanks for the info and any other bits of knowledge is greatly appreciated.  I am going to start a shopping list shortly and post any items that i find.  Also, I have been reading up on chemical coloring (plating) of metals.  This is probably a good topic for another thread.  I will have more time to review my information on the weekend.  Any experience in this area, Purple.  Any information and thoughts are always welcomed, greg .

Well i guess this is the official start of my build.  Sorry about the long pause between posts, but august and september are busy months for me.  I should have more time in the winter months, but i can see this project will take some time to complete.  I have started the ring and the wave amplifier pylons.  Here is a pic of the progress so far.

This is the Screwdriver I like the most so far. When the toy came out I bought my first DR Who toy. I will make a 1:1 on this prop. I cant wait to see how you finish out your build. Good luck.
