IVE SEEN MANY WILLIAM HARTNELL TARDIS' ON THIS SITE, BUT MY QUESTION IS:

How do you apply the st johns ambulance and door sign to your tardis?

Rassilons Rod

Depends what its made of mate. Could be glued on or if its thicker plastic or metal it could be screwed, nailed or no-more-nails'd on :)
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

The Pull To Open on my box is part of an actual opening door.  The St. John sign is a bit more interesting; I've got magnets embedded in the door, and just the heads of screws glued onto the disc -- so it's removable, but it looks to be screwed in place when it's on.

At times the Hartnell St. John's logo looked like a sticker, as in his later stories when it was so dirtied that you would barely see it, it looked like the edges of the logo were lifting away in places. So that would be one method of attaching it: make a sticker. Also note that the Hartnell St. John's logo was very plain; it had no words, lions, or unicorns on it. See this thread on the St. John Logo for some great discussion on the variations of the logo, which box they were on, and some images of the different logos you can capture. The real action starts on Page 5 of that thread:

Page 6 has lots of logos (and some funny stuff to go with them):
