Teletran

A quick animation to show what does what, I'll do another one later to show the collapsible and modular features.

Note that in this animation the focusing element goes from totally collapsed to fully extended, as can me seen by watching the black middle section, normally this component would be only partially extended as seen in previous images.

Rassilons Rod

This is really lovely work Teletran :)
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

LOL!  That's awesome!  Can you add it in on this one?

Most of the rest of the shots I have are of the prop closed so it wouldn't be showing off the awesome neck section but here's a few other possibles if you would like a choice you can find all my reference photos for the McGann model here:  http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=2443.0

I REALLY like the look of this screw-driver. Now I want one too!!

I'm planning to get a few made up for people who want them, if they're willing to pay for the construction, it should be cheaper if we do a decent sized lot. I need to get stuck into the design but I have uni and I'm waiting for greatwazoo42's end user report.

Well, the one that I had built is on it's way to me and should be in my hands next week or the week after depending on how long it takes to cross half the globe.  Once I have it I'll let you know what I think of the construction and mechanical design work.  If it is half as good as the pictures it will be worth it.   ;D

A quick question Teletran, have you ever built one of your sonics? I know  greatwazoo42  has, but I'm just curious. It kinda stook me as being odd that you don't have a build diary for it or anything. I was just wondering.

I'd be interested in getting one, it's a great design.
Farewell Sarah Jane, you will be missed.

I made one out of paper to test the proportions and I was going to make one out of brass tube but when Waz went upmarket with his build I decided to hold off and get one professionally made. There's a thread in the workshop section but I haven't had much time to work on it lately.

This Sonic looks fantastic.  I could definitely see the Doctor using this.

Did I mention that it looks fantastic?
