Bill, what a fantastic looking build there - I really like this as it's such an interesting twist on what's gone before.  I'm sure your production crew are going to enjoy filming on that set!  Keep us all posted on the film if you can.

Good luck in Abu Dhabi.

The "bronze" bars are in fact aluminium drawer handles, a la B & Q. 96mm fixing centres and then sprayed with antique gold Plasticote.

The drawer handles are £9.99 for 6, not only good but cheap too! (necessity being the mother of invention!)

The larger bars around the console are also from B & Q, wardrobe rails and fittings unfortunately not quite so cheap!

It's not too obvious from the photos as they were taken with flash but all the lights flash, the central column lights up and is surrounded by sequencing LEDs, and some of the meters work. The electronics is all housed in the pedestal and operates off 12V (except for the bankers light which is 240V, another B & Q acquisition!) I have mislaid the photo of the internals but when I find it I'll post it.

Flash rates are adjustable with the black knobs abd the swtches all turn something on or off.  All the alarm and indicator lights are operational and can be made to come on steady or flash as required.

Glad you all like it, I am waiting for the cast reaction at the moment as filming has slipped to the last week of October now.

I like the console panels and it's a good design however the proportions seem a bit off to me.

The base is slightly too thick and the rotor is WAY too small.

Hang on, just jumped to your site, where's the update when you added the screen?
