K.9 Handles

I don't suppose you have a measurement for the old style RS handle that was used on the very front and back of the body?  They're not available any more and I think it would be easier to scratch build the handle instead of sourcing one.

Since the handle on K-9 looks a lot like the old square cornered drawer handles to old office desks from the 1970's & '80's, may you should look for some old desks like those.  A place I used to work full time at and now I'm a freelance graphic artist, I can take pictures of the desk handle type I'm talking about for you and maybe give you some measurements.

Hmm.... I am going to investigate but I am almost positive there is a desk type affair over at my in-laws that has about 8 of those things on it!

Yep, that's the kind of handle I was thinking.  I think that is going to be the closest thing to utilize for a K-9.

Sorry I missed this thread. I started another more general one about common hardware for K-9. In it I mentioned the IKEA "Metrik" handle. It can be regarded as either a good substitute or a part which can be modified to a good approximation to the original.
