i177078170_86851_7.gif Well after running around like a Dalek with his eye piece cut off I decided to start looking for a cheap table saw. I love the New Yankee Workshop with Norm but I do not think I need a saw as costly as his. I am looking at the cheap ones at the local big boys but have yet to find one under $150 that is belt driven and/or has a good straight locking fence.
I know I could just get away with a hand saw if need be but like some people the extra toys you get while making your BIG toys is just as fun.
I've started to look at various plans that I have found on the web and started making some decisions on what I want to do.
I am probably going to make the new Tardis as it looks to be the easy one to make.

We should write in to New Yankee Workshop and ask Norm to build a TARDIS.

With the stuff he's got he could make one humdinger of a box!

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

I've emailed NYW many times...with no response.  Perhaps a friendly petition from the members here might peak make more of an influence.

I got side tracked by another project.
I am building a life sized R2 D2.

I still have a few items for my TARDIS and hopefully plan to start one this winter or early next year. Unless I catch the Dalek bug before that.......
