Great to see this almost finished Scott! Looks like a lot of work has gone into it, and the colour looks spot on. I actually prefer the brighter lining you've chosen to the navy one. Can't wait to see it all done. :)

Here we go.  Got the buttons on.  Here is a pic to show what it looks like now.   I will be posting a few with me a bit more dressed for the part.   This was just a quick pic and wasn't posed.  It just really was windy out that day.

Thank you Gemini and Ian, I appreciate your kind words about the coat.  It has really been an adventure in itself just helping it materialize.   I intend this to be a 3-season everyday coat.   There aren't many that recognize it but those that do, I have seen some interesting reactions from! Hopefully this weekend will be nice enough that I can make up some nice recreations of familiar timelord poses.  I greatly appreciate everyone's support and interest. It just seems more fun, while building a Tardis, to be able to dress the part and pose with it when it is done.

Hi Scott
This is an awesome piece of work. The home made application of any prop from Tardis to sonic, and everything in between, is always the best, and certainly, the most satisfying and you can be applauded for tackling such a difficult task and achieving such great results.

Hey Scott, any chance of some detail/close-up pics of parts of the coat?

cardborduser

The coat is very good
I made my costume, with cloths from thrift stores. only problem was my hair. it was a tad bit longer than shoulder length but i managed.
Your coat is way better then mine.

Thankyou cardborduser!!!   I appreciate that .. I like yours too.   It isn't the coat that makes the timelord, it is the attitude.   I will check your profile to see if you have posted any updates on your outfit. I have been away for about a year, apologies ..... Thank you for your kind words

Hello! I think that you have made a wonderful coat, both doctor007 and cardborduser, but I wonder if any of you maybe could give me some instructions how to make a coat like that. :)
