The NST does not actually have square panels, they are rectangular, just not super evident. By making them perfectly square I think it widened it a tad. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a332/Primrodo/TARDIS%20Building/12.jpg

The sign "damage" is just moisture that got its way intothere, I am figureing out new ways to stop that from happening.

The winter held well, but if you check out my build thread you will see that its not up this year for good reason.

Um... I didn't notice a pattern on the back. Maybe you should post a few more similar shots... please! ;)

Nicely done Primrodo. You're blue suit looks like the same fabric as mine.

As for the overcoat, Karsten and I think we may know what the fabric really is. Magnoli uses an upholstery faux suede as he knew it was an upholstery material, but it seems a bit stiff and off in color. This is how I felt for a while now, and when Karsten saw my suit and coat the other day he felt the same. Then we sat on my sofa and it seemed to us that the new series may have used a microfiber. it looks the same in texture and is thinner so that it would flow better with movement. now my sofa is too light but I think this might just be the right material. hope that helps.

I was at the Earls Court exhibition last week, and there's a displaythere detailing the fabrics of Tennant's costume, and the coat is made from sofa material! There's a manequin there wearing what I assume is DT's original costume, and I felt the overcoat, and was suprised by how SOFT it is!

Did you want to take a nap on it or put your sore feet up on it? ')
