Not sure yet Bill. It is a good idea, perhaps I should price a large colour digital print or make  some 'tiling' prints in sections. I hope to have some progress early next week on this and I'll let you know.
Small box.. you can get 2 adults in there easy. ;)

So in essence, with 4 TARDISes, you have two adults (the 2 full sized ones), a teenager (the 7/10ths), and a child (the 2 foot tall one).  This calls for a family portrait!

The console sits on a two-tiered platform, the lower level of which is hexagonal, the upper level of which is circular.

My son has said that all he wants for Christmas this coming year is a Tardis. So, I'm thinking that if I put a call box facade on his bedroom door, I could then make his bedroom walls look like the tardis interior.

Anyone have an idea of the best way to build the interior walls (with the circle/hexagon shapes) that would be relatively durable?  I'm concerned about using foam as it might not hold up to the abuse of a six year old.

I spotted someone on YouTube with a Tennant console build, invited them over to the forum.

Hope he turns up

It looked like a few years back a member (Armadillozenith) started a prototype build (http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=270.0). It was looking really good in that early stage, but nothing more has been heard from or seen of this since.

I'm very curious about that Youtube vid of the Tennant console owner. Could you post the link? Searching for it is taking forever.

That is seriously impressive especially considering that it was based around a 3-foot spool and half the size of the original. I think my wife will let me stretch mine to 4-foot; beyond that it might get in the way of the video game/TV area. (Darn these small rooms.)

Still, at 3 feet... time to start some drawings. (Although, at that size, some of the 3.5-inch bubble globes the wife bought me for the console panels might be a little big. Yeah: definitely need some drawings for scale. So I guess it's off to the other computer for a while since that one has the graphics program in it.)
