Thank you for the image. That's really nice of you - I couldn't find that on the BBC site.

Do you know of any others that are from 'further away' i.e. have the gantry and view from standing at the tardis doors?

I don't, but is there a shot in the new series that could be screen grabbed?  If you find me a screen grab, I could use the overall picture and edit in the better quality console.  Might give the picture a 'focus' and may be quite effective, if you see what I mean... although if you want it for the interior of a TARDIS, you need to look at it like a matte painting and make sure it's the right angle to look 'right'
My pilot's license? That's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked. Trouble at the Kazakhstan border.

I could give you the details but then I'd have to kill you, which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoked.

There isn't much of a runway - from the outside, you probably wouldn't see the runway because of the angles [straight on].  So you could make the floor inside the build runway-esque and the picture at the back the 'distance' picture.  I think it's all about getting the angle right.

Hope it helps.

I was going for this look myself, so you would see a bit of ramp:

I used 3 images, one of the handrails, the main image and cut out the columns  and filled in the top...I cropped to fit one wall of my TARDIS :)

I like it!

However, I just notice something from the BBC pic - they cheated and copied one side of the picture then flipped it - it's a mirror image of itself.  Your original is different....

There is a shot of Marth and the Doctor in the TARDIS, full length, which shows a great deal of the platforms, maybe photoshop some bannisters onto that.... I'll find the pics and do a quick mock up.

Ok here is my attempt at combining the high quality graphic of the interior that I mentioned previously plus the bannisters and doors from the picture Primrodo has posted.

Hope it helps

Hmm it looks a little closer than the actual set is from the doors - but I think my graphic is ok.

Looks good.  But I noticed on the right that there is part of the chair there still.  You may want to take from another shot that part of the column and paste/color correct it to match as best as possible.  As my day job is photo-retouching and color correction, I could do it for you if you want.
